Teams will be selected by two team captains, Ken Downes and Fred Morris. Ken and Fred will select two man teams and decide which two man teams will play against each other. The teams will compete in a Ryder Cup style 2 Man Better Ball format.
2 Man Better Ball: Each player plays their own ball with the better of the two scores counting for the twosome's net score. 90% of individual handicaps is in effect for this tournament.
TEEING GROUNDS: Twosomes will play from the Blue and Silver Tees depending on handicap.
SCORING: 2 Man Better Ball - record the gross scores. The twosome with the lowest net individual score will win the hole. The twosome with the most winning holes wins the match. There will be 2 points awarded to the winning twosome and one point each to the team for a tie. The team with the most points at the end of all the matches is the winner.
