About Us
The Homestead Men’s Golf Club (HMGC) was established in 2003 for golfers of all levels who share a passion for the game, camaraderie, and the spirit of friendly competition. The club is based at scenic Homestead Golf Course in Lakewood, CO, an 18-hole short championship course that offers a challenging layout and superb playing conditions.
Founded to provide an organized, enjoyable golf experience, the HMGC hosts regular tournaments and seasonal championships. Members benefit from a USGA-recognized handicap system, structured competition, and opportunities to meet and play with new partners throughout the season.
Our members take pride in upholding the integrity and etiquette of the game while creating a fun and supportive environment. From casual rounds to competitive play, we believe golf is best enjoyed in good company.
HMGC is an established part of the local golf community, and a big reason Homestead is known not just as a beautiful place to play -- but as a place to belong.

The HMGC Board of Directors is responsible for all functions of the Club, including:
- Organization and operation of all tournaments
- All financial matters concerning the Club
- Establishing policies and future direction of the Club
- Resolving Rules Issues for tournaments
- Organization of banquets, picnics, and awards ceremonies
- Act as a sounding board for member input
Your input is always welcomed and your participation in our events is appreciated. We usually hold a Board meeting a few times a year (mainly in the winter) at Homestead. Anyone is welcome to join us. Check with a Board member in advance to confirm meeting date.
